Iron Review: LIQUIDMETAL Irons
by John Kim
LIQUIDMETAL Irons
These clubs are nice looking with cobalt blue shafts and LIQUIDMETAL cavity-back clubheads.
This brand has a big reputation on the West Coast but is not as well known on the East Coast
possibly due to the price.
The Good: These irons helped my swing dramatically. They are so solid on contact.
There's very little superflous vibration or whipping. Just pure solid contact that sends your
ball soaring. I'm not kidding when I say that these irons improved my shot distance by about
30% and my shot accuracy by about 200%. Now granted part of that is due to an improving swing, but these irons have made a world of difference. Compared to other irons I have played these are more forgiving and add power to almost any golf swing due to the solidness on contact.
The Bad: The price is $1799 if you buy them on the LIQUIDMETALGolf.com web site. Ouch.
$1499 if you get them from the AtlantaGolfer.com pro shop.
Overall: If you can afford these sticks you will improve your game and will never be criticized for the quality of the equipment. If confidence is a big part of the game, then playing with a $1799 set of irons will boost your confidence dramatically, especially once you have played with these enough to see the difference in your game.
